Let me share with you my cold calling leads experience.
Keep in mind that I am not a distributor of Pre-Paid Legal Services. I am here to let you know of an alternative to buying and cold calling over-priced leads. An alternative that won’t drain your bank account, but will put money in it. So here is my story about my frustrations of buying and cold calling leads.
After blowing though my friends and family members, I needed more people to talk to about my business opportunity. My sponsor recommended that I buy and cold call leads. I purchased a bunch of leads from a lead vendor for several hundred dollars and started to dial them.
I got a lot of wrong phone numbers when I tried calling them. The people that answered were not really interested in starting a home based business. Some were entering a contest to win a free vacation. Others were looking to become wage earners.
Most of the the people who were interested in working from home made every objection and excuse that you could imagine after looking at my presentation. The most common were “I don’t have any money. Call me back in Three Months”, “I need to talk this over with my wife”, and “My aunt Suzi was in one of those Scams and it didn’t work”. I did enroll a couple of distributors into my business. All of them gave up within the first 90 days. All I got were a bunch of complainers and deadbeats that really needed a regular JOB.
So this is why I don’t recommend purchasing any leads for your Pre-Paid Legal opportunity. What I do recommend is learning how to generate your own laser-targeted leads. You also need to make money from the 95% of the leads that don’t join your primary company. You can do that by promoting low cost high value marketing training courses through an auto-responder. You will be able to generate income from training programs and tools so that you can fund your business costs.
These Strategies are not that hard to learn. All you need to do is to plug into my recommended attraction marketing system. The Marketing system will teach you different ways to drive traffic to your site. You can utilize both free and paid methods to drive traffic to your site.
You should use free methods if your new to online marketing and are on a tight budget . These methods include video marketing, Social Media and article marketing. Just remember to concentrate on one method (at most two) until you generate a consistent flow of 20+ Pre-Paid legal Business Opportunity leads daily. After you have mastered that strategy, you can move onto another one. With those alternative methods you will be able to build your Pre-Paid Legal Business quicker than building it with cold job mentality leads.

Ted, this is very true. The reason why most of the lead generation systems fail is because they are based on opt in databases. 80% of the information captured from web forms is flawed.
Furthermore, the way lead generation companies do costing is that they calculate the money they’d spend on “marketing their forms”.. like PPC etc. and since they need to squeeze all that cost from the consumer, they end up increasing the per lead cost.
