Be sure to take note of any auctions that have higher bids/views. What you’ll do with that information is learn from it and apply what is relevant to your listing. You can cleverly incorporate ideas and strategies into your own listing to improve your performance. This strategy is called market research and intelligence. You’re not copying, but you’re analyzing ideas and approaches and then improving on them. If you’re a verified Ebay member, that will help you with how people perceive you. Ebay places a lot of restrictions on new sellers-and with good reason. Verification is all about trust, and that’s hugely important to buyers, as you can imagine. Even if you have been selling for months or even years on Ebay, your account will not be as trusted by buyers if it has not been verified. Also, your verified account will have more freedoms with less overall restrictions. Ebay is so large and diverse that there are lots of ways you can succeed with it. When it comes down to it, you use the same principles to succeed online as you would with an offline business. The great advantage of Ebay is that it’s something you can easily do as a part time business, and as you gain experience you will be able to decide whether or not you really want to be a full time internet marketer!
